Our Club Goals 2008-2009
Dear Fellow Members,
After the celebration of our 75th anniversary of the charter of our Rotary Club, it is important to continue to look forward and not become content with past accomplishments. We still have much to do, it seems that no sooner do we complete an assignment, task or project in our community, or throughout the world and another tragedy occurs around the globe.
What a talented group of individuals you are, as a relativeley new member I have had the occasion to observe the great many accomplishments of the Hingham and Hull Rotary Club. As individuals you are a shining example of service above self, but as a group you are a force to be considered. As Rotarians, we provide a resource to our community and as an agent for positive change. We enjoy sharing our knowledge, exchanging ideas and information, and we profit most who serves best.
Let's continue the excellent work that's been completed by our mentors, let's strive to plan and carry out a remarkable variety of humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs that touch peoples lives in their local communities and our worls community.
Richard K. Billings, President 2008-2009, Rotary Club of Hingham and Hull
